When this join is not functioning properly due to misalignment, inflammation, or other reasons, it can result in jaw and neck pain, clicking or popping in the joint, trouble chewing, headaches, earaches, and, in severe cases, the jaw can become stuck or locked in position.

Massage Therapy is a minimally invasive, effective and efficient treatment for TMJ pain and disorders. Using various manual therapies, our highly trained clinicians can reduce pain and resolve disfunction in the jaw and its associated muscles.

Our approach includes a combination of education, manual therapies, exercises, and stretches. Your therapist will provide you with relief from symptoms, as well as equip you with techniques you can use to manage your symptoms at home. This results in faster recovery, with less in-clinic sessions.

This will allow for a reduction in any discomfort you have while being on your feet.

Our custom orthotics should create the most comfortable footwear you own. From the moment you step onto the orthotic, you should notice an improvement in balance and stability and likely a decrease in discomfort.

Himani’s journey with physiotherapy started at the early age of 15, when her then-55 year old grandmother suffered a spinal injury, leaving her bed ridden. Physiotherapy held a special place in her heart when her grandmother’s physiotherapist helped her grandma regain enough mobility to sit and feed herself and adapt to a new way of living, against all hopes.

Himani has been practicing since 2005, when she finished a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy. She then went on to achieve a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from 2006 - 2008.

Himani is a trained Mckenzie therapist, and has completed Cyriax courses, empowering her strong diagnostic skills. Himani’s treatment approach involves a thorough and comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, followed by highly customised, hands-on treatments and education, empowering her clients to maintain a pain free life. She focuses on prevention by optimizing posture and biomechanics of our body when indicated.

Himani strongly believes in Karma and does not miss any chance to express gratitude. This approach to live is constant for Himani, and becomes evermore clear anytime she has the privilege of assisting someone who has suffered a serious injury. Her extensive work with clients who have suffered spinal injury has helped her realize the value of every moment in life, and how a fraction of a second can change one’s scenario from roaring and sailing through the waves to struggling for a single breath. Himani’s 20+ years of physiothetapy experience, in vast variety of settings and populations, helps her connect deeply with her patients.
